Getting Started
Welcome to Rental Click!
We would first like to thank you for choosing Rental Click to advertise your property. To begin creating your
property’s web page click Add Property on the top banner of the home page. After entering the Add Property page, you
click Sign Up Now to begin your subscription with Rental Click. You must now complete the registration form accurately
by clicking into each field and typing in the necessary information. Each field labeled (required) must be filled
to complete order. This information may
be edited at any time once your account is created. The password you enter into this page will allow you access to
your account. If you forget your password at any time, Rental Click gives you the option to have your password
e-mailed to the account you provide in registration. This option is available on the login
page. Finally, if you have any special instructions
you wish to inform Rental Click about, please submit in the field labeled Special
Instructions. Once you have completed
the registration form, please click Complete Order.
Add Property
If you have already registered with Rental Click and wish to add additional
properties, please login to your account and follow instructions in Edit
Property. To register and enter a new property click Add Property on the top navigation bar and follow the
instruction in Getting Started. Once you have registered and clicked Complete Order, Rental Click will welcome you
by saying Welcome “Your Name.” This page will display your portfolio. At this point, it will display No Property Currently Listed.
Click Add Property to begin. You will now create your web page by
completing each necessary field that relates to your property. If you do not put information in a field, it
will not display on your page. It is strongly recommended to add images to your site.
Adding Images
We are offering a number of options to make it easy
for you to add pictures to your site. The picture
inserted into the first field, will display the largest and be centered on your
page. Additional pictures will be displayed along the right side of your page.
The two option to place pictures on your advertisement include:
OPTION 1:
Uploading the pictures directly from your hard drive.
We recommend you take pictures of the property, being sure to capture all of the selling points. The next step is
take the film to be developed. The film needs to be developed to a floppy disk or CD rom disk. This will allow you
to place the pictures directly onto your computer. Once the pictures are developed and on a computer disk,
you may create a folder on the desktop named (Your Property). Place all the pictures from the disk
directly into your folder on the hard drive. You are now ready to upload the pictures onto your advertisement.
1. Login to your account using your user id and password.
2. Click Upload/Link Pictures
3. Click Upload Pictures
4. Click Browse to find the specific picture you would like on your page
5. Finally click Upload
OPTION 2:
If you already have a site on the web with specific pictures, right click the mouse on the pictures
you would like to import to Rental Click. You will then copy the specific URL from the properties
page. Finally, paste the exact URL into the picture field. It is that easy.
This will display the specific pictures you enter in each field.
Your page should now be complete. Click Add New Property at the bottom of the
page and watch your new web page being built. Your portfolio has now been created.
Preview Property
To preview the property you have created click your
property’s title in the Preview column. Any changes you see to be made may be done by Editing your property.
Availability Calendar
Each property you submit with Rental Click will be
given an availability calendar that you control. The purpose of this calendar is to allow potential renters the
ability to plan a vacation to your home based on availability. Using this technology, each time you have a
booking the availability calendar may easily be updated. After logging into the system through Login,
Add Property, or Edit Property you will access your portfolio. Click the property calendar under Edit
Calendar to begin updating. Choose the month you wish to update by entering it into the pop-up menu or click the
arrows on either side of the calendar to the specific month. It is important to note that if the day is
blank = available and sold = unavailable. To make a day unavailable, simply click on the number in the day you
wish to make unavailable. That day should immediately show Sold. When you are finished, click Close Calendar Window.
Edit Property
The Edit Property page is where you will access and edit your property’s web pages as well as your registration information. For access to your portfolio, enter your
e-mail address and password that was submitted during initial registration.
Choose Add/Edit Property or Edit Registration Info. Add/Edit Property allows you to continuously
update your web pages and add new property’s when it is convenient for
you. Edit Registration Info allows you to update credit card info, billing address, e-mail address, password and much more. To EDIT your property, click the
property you wish to make changes to under the Edit/Delete column. You may make changes to any of the fields by
simply mouse clicking to the field, or by pressing the Tab key. After making changes, click Update Property
at the bottom of your screen. To void out your changes and return to the last updated page, you may click Reset. You may Preview your changes by clicking the
property under the Preview column. To ADD a new property, click Add Property. Adding a new property to your portfolio will be an additional charge
equal to the price of establishing an account with Rental Click. By adding a new property into your
portfolio, editing and organization of your web pages is easy and
efficient. Once you click Add Property, setup is identical to when you established your first web page with Rental Click.
